Wasted Everyday

Everyday I see you there
I stare at you always in the face
But you look back as if you don’t see me

Everyday I walk past you
I still know your voice and face
But you act as if you don’t know me

Everyday I go back
To the place and time when
All is well between you and me

Savage years have separated us
But everyday I live
As if the old days are still here
I remember so brightly how those days were

Though you don’t remember
Though you don’t know me anymore
You don’t know these passing moments
Wasted everyday, wasted…
