Wanderlust
The sun will rise on my cold shadow
I'll find tomorrow in another place
A ghost that passes through my closed window
My spirit leaves not but memory's trace
Call from a lone bird heard from afar
A song from a soft night my soul dreams of
A drifter who wanders to the farthest star
Who seeks beauty in the black sky above
The silent urge to dream forever strong
In life's fabric a woven web will wind
No judgment asked whether right or wrong
A traveler in a world to define
To take my spirit on a flight within
And conquer the illusions a mind gives
Grasp this universe so thoughts can begin
And understand where life of a dream lives
contest Wanderlust
