Walking In Front of the Moon

Sleeping through the day.. The world turns like still pages.. I prowl the night slow.. While my eyes adjust to dark.. The moonlight hits my shoulders.. The shadow cascades.. My path shown by tree lined roads.. But no distant view.. Only questions left to thought.. Do I dream when I'm awake? "Tanka me a Moonlight Dream" contest... written by Michael J Falotico

I really like your Tanka Dream Michael. Especially like the line the world turns like still pages. Many great images created in this poem. I am working on a Quatern Poem today for Dr. Mehta. Started it last night and I am somewhat stuggling. But I am determined.

While you are awake are the best dreams I reckon, there isn't that weird feeling when you wake up in the middle of a dream and sometimes wonder what would have happened hehe.. I got off track again.. Stunning entry Mr. F, love the "The moonlight hits my shoulders..." all the best for the contest, love wilma

There is so much to ponder in this poem...it's as if you could even be sleepwalking....or even a trance. Read thru many times...this will have to go in your Vol. II of poems. :) Gwendolen
