A great write Sue... Your Haiku captured the essense =) PS: Did you send your ideas via soupmail? haha or did it reject them too? I haven't received anything...I hope there's nothing wrong with my soupmail, for I'm really more than excited to know what you think about these political issues... Always, farah

Love it! Thanks for the blog comment. I hear you! I've been on a puzzle kick lately so I'm just viewing the form as a puzzle to solve LOL. I do LOVE Ballades though and Ballads are metered verse, if you don't rhyme the end words Taaaadddaaaaa you have Blank Verse (duck) Light & Love

Congratulations on your win in Carol's Waiting For Spring contest. I love your Haiku...it explains why spring hasn't arrived yet...a chill lingers in the air! This is such a wonderful statement! Enjoy your honor and may you have many more. My birthday date is this coming Saturday, February 6th. I thank you for your sharp eye: yes, there was a typo in my poem I have corrected it. Thanks again for your kindness, Sue. Have a wonderful weekend and may God bless you. Love and hugs, Andrew.

Hey, Sue, I'm still waiting too. Great haiku! About a chap book. It's just a short book of (usually) poetry...no more than 50 pages. I have a printer, so I just print my stuff up for myself. I have a couple of good revues on "The Sibyl", a chap book on Greek themes, but, so far, no outside publication. 50th reunions are a blast. I had mine in 1997. Am I an old fart, or what? BIG LOVE, daver

Sue, This is definitely a great haiku reminder... as it chills again even here in Florida. Good luck in Carol's contest. Thank you for your very kind comments on my work. I really felt good that you noticed how much writing I have done recently trying the various poetic forms. You have encouraged me to continue forward!!! (Even if it isn't a nice warm spring, yet.) Smiles, Dane

Amen! We had winds around 50 miles and hour Monday with blowing snow. They cancelled schools. We already have enough snow to last us the whole winter and we haven't even hit February. OK! I'll stop. Just wanted to let you know I can really relate to your poem. I can't wait for spring! Fitting title for your poem. Good luck in the contest. Thank you for your kind comment. Karen
