Victim and Thief
VICTIM AND THIEF
Your life is nothing until your death
You were never there until you’d left
You never know until you don’t
You never would until you can’t
You’ll never see until you’re blind
You’ll lose your head if you don’t mind
Everything you forget is lost
Everything is free, plus cost
Everybody’s owned subliminally
Everybody’s labeled criminally
Nothing’s healthy but your wounds
Nothing painful is over soon
Oh the living you will do!
Now that the dying one is you
No one’s ever young until they’re older
Everyone is cold until they’re colder
