Vapour

Love is my palm against the window pane collecting the morning Dew of our laughter But unfortunately soon after............. it's ghostly condensation quickly fades IN MY MEMORY and I've lost the vapour... My Stain glass eyes Depict Deep Violet skies tinged with Golden Sunrise and Azure Ocean waters overlooking the celestial heavens But stain glass eyes is the closest I will ever be to religious sanctity I know not, of this thing called heaven Yet I know that within my ability to write There exists something. When I fall in love again He will know me for all that I am Know my thoughts even before I make a sound Finds humour in my furrowed expressions Wrap me in his jacket when its pouring See talent even in my scribbling Who will inspire me to do better
