This poem was written following a prompt to use one of these lines from well known poems and poets as the opening line of a six line verse for Nette Onclaud's contest.  I made this attempt to weave all of them into a cohesive poetic offering.  Feel free to offer any comments - pro or con - on this endeavor.

So ambitious John! : ) I'm in the same boat as jan, I haven't been able to come up with one yet! I love the "pedals falling in the path of day brakes rush" line. Great job! ~ lee
