My experiences are my virtue,
I'm lucky that way.
On the ground half my life
so no one can cause me pain.
As soon as i'm let down,
I shut down, go numb.
My heart cannot be broken,
it can never be done.
the deep sadness i carry,
has advantages you see.
So i don't need your sympathy,
it's a pleasure being me.
if i only feel true happiness
for a few moments in my time,
it's enough to have felt it
and when it's gone i'll be fine.
