Unrevealing Poem

Oh this poem is good, very good. So unrevealing with its likelihood of ideal rhythm – I like its theme. Oh ideas, these ideas I’m having, falling from behind, Are whirling shallowly in my mind. These consonants are diverging away from my head; These vowels, are these vowels alive or dead? This rhyme, going with the beats of my heart, fleetingly, these bombastic words, pure art, shaking me, what are they trying to say? It’s midnight for heaven’s sake, I’m slumbering; Are these poesy ideas here to stay? . . . Certainly not – Maybe I should just wake up from the land of nod and jot them down in case I miss a line, Or forget a word that rhymes with shine.
