Daisy was a dog owner’s delight She never fought and didn’t bite. But she ate some bad food Putting her in a mean mood. The result is too tragic to write.

Great lines with majestic eloquence.. Your meandering of words still did not prevent your peice from giving out its message. This is an absolute 7!

Jan, as ever and always, thank you. I took your counsel and entered Catie's L&H limerick contest. Then, I looked at my entry 12 hours later and deleted it. Ugh, it was awful. Maybe I'll make a second run at it, Catie/rules permitting.

Thanks, Tim. I want you to know I'm looking forward to reading your limerick about onion breath. As I mentioned earlier, I'm confident--in your gifted hands--that will have the makings of a classic.
