Under the Dome

UNDER THE DOME Last night, what a beautiful walk home! Under the half-lit Moon and the starry dome I searched for Leo and Comet Ison But my eyes (and my heart) returned To Cassiopeia and the star Caph Only to think of you and one magic night When the stars skipped by like Match-heads being struck against The sandpaper strip and set alight; A blazing glory much too short. But memory is everything And all that I have to hold tonight.
