Under a Canopy of Trees

A walk between the raindrops Beneath a canopy of trees Snuggling close to you Against the summer breeze No umbrella needed For the trees protect just fine As we walked between the raindrops When we were very young Remember the days of summer When our love was new and young When we walked between the raindrops And felt far from any harm Now we don't walk between The raindrops, because of the cold. Winter has entered and has taken hold But someday in the future Spring will return We'll walk between the raindrops The same as when we were young With spring in our steps The pain will be gone We'll walk between the raindrops With joy that has a song Looking forward to.. the spring with you
