Unanswered Text

Send a text And what comes next Perhaps is a reply... But maybe not And you know what? You'll have no reason why. Was not received Or someone's peeved And chooses to ignore it... 'Cause on the screen What you might mean Has no way to explore it. So what to do? I've thought it through And think you should resend it... But that advice May not suffice, Thus I cannot defend it. Instead I wait In such a state That keeps my nerves a'jangle... And check my phone 'Cause one alone Can make those nerves untangle.

Talk about a communication gap. Sometimes what's text'd leaves you perplexed. Not knowing what was meant. You're not hexed, just kinda vexed. Not knowing what was sent.

Well Ilene do what we do and don't use the text besides both Peter and I have no idea how to use it and we don't really want to know, too complicated, we just use the phone for ringing etc, Leave it to the young ones. Take care my friend.......Vera............

Ilene. just do what I do. REmove text from your phone. I don't have it. I don't want it. no worries. hahaha. But then again, I am from another century!! I enjoyed this poem.

Well stated, Ilene. I think life used to be more simple before all that.... Now you have to think about whether the person receiving the text will read it with the same emotions attached as you intended.
