Unanswered Prayers

Sometimes it takes the smallest things Perhaps the music a songbird sings Or the new growth of green and warmth every spring To hear answered prayers angels bring A firm handshake given from a friend Concerned eyes that see and never pretend A neighbor willing to lend a helping hand Prayers answered the way God chose to send ©Donna Jones

Thank you for your kind words Andrea. Really!!!! I just got this tablet for Christmas and am trying to figure it out.. I have a throw away phone so this is all new to me...I accidentally hit a button the other day that was about types of poetry. I need to find it again but all help is welcome
