Two Hearts In Love

Two hearts with unknown love With lips touching as passions erupts Where push no longer comes to shove Just like the coo of the morning dove Love flourishes fast and never corrupts The morning passes, the evening drifts in Two lovers walk arm in arm Why this wait, why so long, where has this love been? Tis sweet love with no awaiting sin For two hearts with such sweet charms Another hour, no longer can he stay The time just moved ever faster He’ll send for her, he’ll make a way And then they’ll have time to play If time were not the master The sad news she heard As tears spilled out He’ll speak not another sweet word War’s pure hell, it’s so absurd Please come back lover, she shouts

Thanks Vicky and Darren, your words mean a lot with love and war being two things that happen although one sometimes causes the other to bring tears and heartache and yes war is hell for sure but it has been going on since the early dawn of civilization. Thanks for both your comments because this means a lot to me.

Well penned poem Will! Time of course is the master and it tends to disrupt our carefully laid down plans. Love and war, love breeds peace and hate breeds war, so it is kind of understandable where one resides the other cannot continue dwelling. Now if only the whole of mankind would strive for peace! Then love would take root in all our hearts.

A love story told with a bitter twist but sensitively handled . War certainly is pure hell. Very well written Will . Thank you for sharing my friend.
