Twenty Years
We’ve been together twenty years,
But now you’ve turned and walked away,
Ignoring reason, pleas and tears,
You’ve found another place to stay.
Your heart is colder, harder now,
Exchanging love for thoughtless lust,
Forsaken, like your wedding vow,
My future crumbles into dust.
Sorry this isn't jolly, lol - just letting off steam...
