True Love

It found us at different times in our lives and has caused us to soar on high and crash very low. It faded in and out as we got on with the business of life, but the flames never died out completely, alternating between bright and dim. We each were given another to love, cherish and share this life with, but we never forgot that our journey to love and be loved started out with each other. We are now one alone and one unhappy, going through each day the best we can, holding up one another when life tries to beat us down. This summer of 2010 we’ve come full circle, the love we began with long ago, the love that was silent for a time, the love we’ve harbored for each other in secret, is now the truest love in our lives, and lives in the deepest part of our souls.
