Trial's End
It is the crack of sunlight at 5:30 am on a sandy beach,
It is this intuitive sensation, like winds of serendipity are blowing on the ether that surrounds us,
It is the elated recognition that darkness can’t out step the pace of your gratitude,
And it is this sober reckoning that the distance between you and torment gets greater and greater with each passing day.
It is a circumstance.
It is a feeling.
It is the hand of God caressing your soul and whispering, “You made it, It’s over, you’re home once more.”
And as the you, that you have been waiting to emerge starts to resurface.
You scream at the top of your lungs, “I’m brilliant! God’s brilliant! We're brilliant!! And the best is yet to come!!”
