Transfixed, suspended,
as geese caught in overnight ice
awaiting dawn and sun's warmth.
Static, lost in a dream
I can't remember
but never really forget.

It makes me think of a tale where a flock of geese stuck in a lake all flew together and lifted the lake to another location.
