Traces of You
Memories of not long ago still
Linger in my mind,
The tingling sensation of your
Lips against mine.
The way your eyes shone even
In the darkest hour,
The way you held me and told
Me it'll be okay.
I believed everything you said
Not knowing they were lies,
Thinking they were the truth
I gave everything to you.
Now I realize my mistake,
I try to move on from you
But every time I do
I still feel these traces of you...
