Tower

There is a tower that stands so high, that it separates the sky I can't climb to the window on the highest flight, no one has Just the prospect of what is in it tantalizes me every day I stand at the bottom and look up with hopes of seeing this window So high, how could I? I am told that everything lost is in there How nice that would be. My mind is racing as if I were trying to pick up shattered glass and put it back together A real tear falls from my eye, and hits the ground How very high my eye is from the ground, what a long way for the tear to fall. Those who find out what is in the tower are promised eternal happiness Yeah Right, no such thing. I jump up and down with hopes as unrealistic as a two dimensional world. But as of now the number two is very important all I can think of is me and that tower. I know the reason people can't make it to that window Fear, paralyzing, scrutinizing fear Yeah, it will stop you. It will stop me. So I guess everything I lost is really gone?
