Touch the Wind

Touch the wind Reach out to grasp a shooting star When shadows touch the wind, But a thunder sounds this falls rebirth As the evening slips away; But I shall return again To this place one day We sense a softer evening light As quiet voices call, But those alas so woebegone Think only of their mortality; But I shall stand again In this place one day Reach out to a star and touch the wind Then let a morning break, But seconds now to quickly fly As time passes everyday, But I shall return again To this place one day By M.Norton marklnorton@shaw.ca
