Tongues Arrest

Something bad is happening, Stops me in my tracks, I can hear it but cant stop it, If I had the strength, I'd beat the man with a car jack I hear pleading, Can only imagine bleeding, I hear cries, All I can do I pray, I hear misery, A spirit fights not to die today, I hear yelling, A struggle to be heard, I hear pain, Treatment no one deserves, Had I known then what I know now, Never would I have stood there, Adults surround me on the block, They know whats happening, to stop it, no one dares, Are they scared, cat got the tongue? How can you let this happen, you know it's wrong, Kids life is screaming for freedom You turn your back, help this time, you see no reason, You'll get whats coming to you, someone will see to that, For now I'll stay in the garage, Gotta wait until peace is back.
