Oh, grand and wondrous machine, Creation of man's innovative mind, What hidden wonders lie within you, That mankind seeks to find? Your window opens to dimensions far, Words that allure, missions you obey, Do you perceive, hear, and feel like we are, Or are you spirits that could lead astray? Why obey man's folly and command, His divisive hands clutching the key? What makes their minds clouded and bland, To shun the Creator's law, willfully? Some boast about your existence's fame, Thinking they've transformed the world's mode, Trampling values, ignoring all shame, Believing you've rendered the old abode. My grand machine, I wish you could be, More than a judge of right and wrong, Helping minds change, setting them free, Guiding them back to where they belong. Let us together write words of warning, For them to see their wickedness stark, May they repent and find God's adorning, Returning to the Lord with renewed sparks.
