Tip of Tongue
What happens to those words we never say?
Many times words are left on tip of tongue
for some love is the hardest word to say
forgotten like thoughts and songs never sung
yet our minds remember it all so clear
instead of words we remained silent
as maturity grows erases fear
a few not said words may be violent
being able to speak truly a gift
words of kindness comes and goes straight from heart
a few kind words can give spirits a lift
and some words can tear someone’s heart apart
keep in mind actions speak louder than words
reach for those flowers instead of those swords
