Time and Distance

The rain hits the glass of the window As the thunder gets louder I’m sitting on the gallery banister Seeking refuge from a bottle of liquor But the alcohol doesn’t help me Right now nothing can Lightning casting shadows on the face Of a sad and lonely man I kept looking out the window Hoping to see the sun shine But all I see is darkness Maybe it’s hiding some where behind It’s hard living with this broken heart With this empty feeling in my gut I don’t know what to do anymore All I know is that I’m missing her a lot When you’re missing someone The whole world seems depopulated And there’s nothing in this world you can do As your life becomes more complicated Getting over someone you love Is the most impossible thing to do? It feels really bad when you fall in love With some one that cant be with you It’s even worse when the relationship Never gets the chance to survive And trying to forget someone you love Is the hardest “assignments” in your life? Especially when you know in your heart That she is that special one And you know if you are not with her Then life has no reason to go on I’m wish to be with the girl I love But we’re thousands of miles apart And time and distance can be so cruel It Can bring a lot of grieve to the heart I don’t know when I will get to see her And its hurts her when I tell her so And will we ever get to be together Its something only god knows And not knowing if we will be together It’s a terrible feeling to go through So trying to get over or forget or just move on Feels like a knife cutting the heart out of you And Who ever said “time heals all wounds” Clearly don’t know what they’re talking about And if I see that person right now I would tell them to shut their big mouth
