Time

With deep regret I do confess Time is a concept I cannot grasp. Decades offer ten Years as dates To eagerly await As individual friends. It causes dismay To see yesterday Fill tomorrow’s slate And with mocking ways Consume dreams Right off my plate. I’ve seen time tick On watch and clock. I know the ticking Will not stop. But couldn’t time pass, As it does go, And leave behind More than just echo? ... CayCay Jennings 8-23-15

Again, enjoy the observations and we all have questioned this man-made thing called time. Does it exsist or did we event it for organization? This poem worked. Fun rhyme!

I enjoyed reading your poems today and thought about you, missing your son, as my son is visiting. Hope yours is not something permanent.

Hey, Judy - Thanks for dropping by. For 28 years my special needs son, my heart, lived with me. For the past two he has been 2,000 miles away living with his Father. I can't deny him that, his version of leaving the nest and I can't deny missing him all the days! Enjoy your son. I'll check out your poems soon. Go in a good way ... CayCay
