Through Their Eyes

Rainy day washed away the blood splatted On the sidewalk and street of a young man I assasinated without any mercy and pity Green monster of jealousy blinded my mind His body was lying lifeless, in the urban street When he walked exercising every afternoon I left him speechless, when I triggerred the gun He was listening to his favorite musical playlist His brown hair was bloody with the shot inflicted Do not cross crime scene tape and chalk outline Drawn around his body, as the gruesome scene Was investigated by police, when received a call I was found hanging in a tree, in a neaby park After I killed my once dearly husband, before Inner demons dominated my mind and soul For Through Their Eyes Poetry Contest Sponsored by Shadow Hamilton 7-30-2016
