Three Rivers Down the singing, winding rivers and, under spans of big city bridges, a steel town grew up out of a fort. Not one, but three singing, blue rivers made a daily chorus to the sky, the Allegheny sings on one side, the Monongahela, the other. They all move westward, to the sunset, and soon form a golden triangle. There they join the mighty Ohio. At the junction of the three rivers, the City of Pittsburgh grew and grew. 12/1/16 Form: River Line RIVER LINE New Guidelines - Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Rick Parise

What a lovely poem that pays tribute to these three rivers that embrace an old town where you used to live. Well written, and best wishes for the contest, Janis. Hugs, Sandra

Sandra, thanks but I don't even call it a poem. Doubt whether it will do anything in a contest. Just wrote words. Thanks.
