Thoughts Did Disappear
Thoughts Did Disappear
A memory came back that was daunting
And at same time it had been haunting
Me wondering how it would occur again
So where should I start or ever begin?
Had seen an island where a farm was on
In lovely place where we once had gone
Realizing it was you that I had met there
Were the times when much for you did care.
When you left I was all by myself alone
While mighty wind would blow and moan
Small desert island was struck by a storm
Then air there became cool that was warm.
Boat's sails billowed carrying me out at sea
Was not the place where I wanted to be
And on top of my cabin a tree did land
Not expected by me or ever planned.
Left the lonely island never to return
Memories of it I occasionally do yearn
Became old and twilight started to near
Thoughts of island home did disappear.
