Those Without
She thought she knew herself and what she was doing
Having plenty of wealth or at least most so construing
Yep! She was on the right path or at least she thought
Like being taken for a bath when you get as you sought
Life went about without a hitch as the sun shined bright
Each step a stich as now the whole pattern was in sight
Summer was followed by fall and winter by the spring
It was like a big ball and to it it had this nice little ring
Seasons would come and go but she stayed the same
What would she know thinking life was all just a game
The stars how they shined on those moon lite nights
It was all so refined just part of the everyday sights
The weekends would arrive with intermittent holidays
She never felt more alive in going about in her ways
At the front of that crowd she tippy-toed looking back
In an instant the proud will see what they truly lack
Exodus 15:2
The LORD is my strength and song,
and he is become my salvation: he is my God,
and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God,
and I will exalt him.
