Books upon table
Books so placed, all side by side
Haphazard the plan, order
Sublime is the mind
A hunger for writing mine
Books bathed in sun dappled light
Some open, some not
Books placed on the hardwood floor
Waiting for this writer's hands
A single red rose
In glass vase, a glass of wine
Waiting in silence for me
