This Modern Day
There are some things that I don't like
In these modern situations.
In my old fashioned way I think
Nose rings are abominations.
But you ask what it is I like,
I've lots to say about that too.
I like that we're more accepting
Of others in ways that are new.
The brave marchers of the Sixties
Brought on these changes that are good.
Everyone is more respected,
Although perhaps not understood.
Our modern electronic gadgets
Has the world at our beck and call.
Friends as near as my finger tips
Make these last years my best of all.
