This Candle, how it burns for you That I would see your light In it, not a darkened glance Love that burns so bright Oh that you were just as close I'd smell the sweetest heart But alas, the hours fade I still am held apart Here I lie, a lover still Ink upon a page But these words unspoken Within silence fade Deepened talks within the mind Still, I lack the heart I sit alone, a graceful end I long await the start
