Thinking Back

Thinking Back When we were young and before she was my wife I didn’t know she was going to be the love of my life I miss those special times that we had I miss all the times so very bad I don’t know where I found a talent to write poems late in my life It must come from the woman I loved who was my wife Over the years we have had arguments and called each other names Like little kids playing silly games In a picture of my wife the sun shines in her hair and makes it glow To me she looks like my loving angel with a halo Thinking back on our first pregnancy That was hard for my wife and me Some times she had morning sickness At times she had made a mess In that nine month period of time She had fallen for the third time My heart was divided in quarters My wife my son and my two daughters I think my heart will become whole That day that my wife takes my soul

Wow! What a great way to pay honor to your wife.. Very Good Michael..All poems don't have to always rhyme we just j=have to look at what message is being shared. You give whatever comment on how that poem made you feel.... I think you have great talent in expressing your words..Very touching and heart felt. Keep up the great work and if you don't mind me saying so maybe it's your wife that is talking to your heart to say these words. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your encouragement with me.

Fantastic piece, Michael! So sorry about your dear wife, R.I.P., and struggles. She'll not take your soul, Michael, even though you give it w/love. She's waiting for you in eternity with God!In the meantime, live, enjoy your children, life and if you have faith, hold on tight and don't let the enemy, life, or anything! Steal it! Peace, love, Audrey

Michael, I feel very sad for your pain over your wife's death. Sometimes it is really hard. My wife still grieves her dad now gone almost six years. But, that comes not only from the love she had for him, but he lived with us for about six months just before he died. I have read all your poems and I think you are writing very well. Charles
