Thin Black Line

The line was never crossed it was drawn for me to see I asked you so many times to make me the king You always looked but never touched I dreamed of once being maybe your crutch Then came the storm it wiped out our life I knew it was over But like a fool I never give up Love for me is always too much I cried when you left I cried when you stayed Then you said something that made me think Is cruelty my fortune? The car pulled up I got in and said drive The man in the shadow asked are you really that surprised ? All of a sudden it hit me I knew I was right It took all my feelings to make it real bright I am the one in control so it shall be The line just got thicker for me
