There Once Was a Girl

There was once a girl A very kind girl That smile could brighten and lift up your world But the girl had a secret The smile was fake The kind was a lie She was dying inside Her depression eating her alive She cried out a storm Only to show a rainbow Until she had enough and she let go And everyone asked And pondered and why'd Why did the happy girl die?
