There Comes a Time
There comes a time
when we must say goodbye
all beautiful things
eventually die
The summer, the winter
they come and they go
and soon we will leave
all that we know
We live majestically
happy and free
but it can't last forever
this you will see
Your last dying breath
the flower has faded
your soul leaves you quickly
you couldn't have waited
Your legacy remains
untouched and true
cherished by the ones
you never knew
The world will go on
the sun has to rise
but the laws will not change
and it never lies
We'll all fly away
all good must end
dying is only
an unendless trend
Say your goodbyes
there's no reason or rhyme
but for all that is beautiful
there comes a time
