The Waiting

Standing still
Waiting in the twilight
Primal aggression empowering me
Keep the scent fresh
within my being
The masculine
and weak
I see all
Crouched and
Stalking game
living in the coiled energy
of my quivering muscles
Embedded in the shadows
I watch transfixed
by the tantric apparition of ur lips
Moving in disarming temptation
Mouthing defiance
and coarse with the echo
of your sweet thick breath
For unlawful carnal knowledge
Conjured within my hands and heart
and heat
I am stalking u
Carefully positioned to attack
The shadows surround my form
& dance at my back
Deep in the dark
My muscles coiled
To spring
To rip and claw and bite
To taste bitterness
To end this
I'm not me before the piece
I'm not me before I feed
On u, on the world at my feet
Watching in subservient language
Waiting for the kill
is sweet
sexual anticipation
Of which
Am addicted

Hi Lauryn, a most Interesting write from your pen, very well written. As I read my own mind took me down the road of the Vampire. Whether this was going down the same road as you walked down as you wrote It matters not really. What matters Is I was transfixed to the page reading as my thoughts brought forward the visions your words evoked within me. This write awoke my inner darkness. An excellent write Lauryn. A fav and a seven. Love always....MIKE. XXX

Thank you :) in a way it could be described as a vampire, maybe psychologically, not necessarily in the Hollywood sense ;) but I'm appreciative for your giving me another insight to my own writing... is it bad that now I'm thinking of Gerard Butler in Dracula 2000? LOL
