The Tightrope of Life

Enlightenment, hope and harmony What they are to me Without one,you will never obtain the other two Of these life balancing three Living your life in harmony Fills your heart with hope Through hope you gain enlightenment As you prepare to cross life's tightrope You hope to reach the other side As you take each step in harmony Reaching the other side you will gain enlightenment With the proper balancing of all three

Cool cool cool. I like a lot. I thought of this poem in a musical sort of way. Harmony is nice, but the sound of dissonance can , for some people be appealing. I think harmony is fulsome. Dissonance, or chaos--the stuff that some people feed upon is often appealing..but NEVER fulfilling...harmony feels so great. I am at peace with this write. Always, Laura

You asked me about enlightenment and the only thing I have to say is that I am on its path for over forty years and still find myself at the starting line, although academic achievements are there still I linger behind my goal!
