The Sun Fairy

Under the sun and over the moon is the fairy glen
Where lived a pretty fairy, named Wren
And when the twilight drew its curtain over the night
She raised from sleep and shone bright
She wore a diamond studded cloak
And danced enchantingly with little folk
And when she stepped on new virgin snow
The world smiled with a mystic glow
Her eyes a colour of chocolate brown
Melted the heart of the king and his crown
And it was her task to hold the fiery ball
And let it shine on the world for all

Truly fabulous write, Tahera. I would have never thought of such an interpretation and yet it fits so well. Quite a spiritual quality that I admire. Congratulations on your win! Love, Carolyn

This is REALLY cute, Tahera. I think one of my favorites of the fairy poems I've been reading! So you would like to be Peter Pan too? maybe this is your Tinkerbell!! I love the name you gave her, Wren!
