The Smile

I was taking my daily walk down the street, I felt so troubled and sad I could barely move my feet. I was just about to take the turn around the corner and finish my mile, when I spotted and aged somewhat crippled man trudging along , but wearing the greatest smile, It didn't seem to matter to him how long it took him to get where he wanted to go, He just kept on moving even though his steps were very slow. He made me realize my sadness and sorrow was so small, nothing to compare with the pain he must feel daily if he wants to get t out and go anywhere. I lifted my head up higher and stepped up my pace, I threw my shoulders back I too, put a smile upon my face.
