The Seagulls
Above summer clouds the seagulls enjoyed the sky;
Today you disappeared, the sad empty space cries;
You gave up the beloved Rocky Mountains domain,
Left behind the dear sphere; won’t I see you again?
Cold gloomy weather chased you away the admirer;
In the isolated sky, I’m looking for the heart stealers;
Neither white wings nor nice voice of enchantment;
Put my aim diverting, my soul in a falling movement.
Where did you head to? Where is your new shelter?
Wintry wind wrung my mind since your departure;
My only hope scales down to separately stay apart;
I’m pursuing the full range hunt for my sweetheart.
Gelid weather mistakes my vision of your presence;
The lovely shadows remain their heavyset accents;
Your farewell is alike your death, even a bit of time;
You fled winter, left me burying in a long chilly clime.
