Author's Notes: This romantic Shakespearean Sonnet, entitled: "The Radiance of Our Love So True," is a love sonnet set in Iambic Pentameter. This sonnet touches on the meeting of a man and woman for the first time, and the feeling the man has that this woman is indeed the right woman for him at their first glance of being together. This sonnet goes on to develop this opening theme further as the couple begins to embrace and kiss as they walk on a romantic starlit night. Next, the sonnet focuses on the new couple melding essential into "one," and sharing their love as they begin their new life journey together. The sonnet ends on a very positive note with the discovery that the couple has indeed found such "radiance" (i.e., cheerful happiness or splendor) in their love, and they sincerely pray for God's divine love too. As with many of my past writes of a similar nature, this is a very emotive and passionate poem because of the subject at hand being discussed. I hope you will find this sonnet of interest!!
