The Picture In the Window

I walk by the window from work everyday To look at your picture they have on display I peer through the glass at your beautiful face In awe of your beauty and your breathtaking grace Your hair is so golden like the color of the sun Your tan is so perfect for it's not over done The smile that you have is like none that I've seen Only lacking a crown to be a princess or queen Your eyes hold the magic not matched by the sea They're as clear as a crystal and as pure as can be The angels are jealous in the Heaven's above For they compete for your stares from hearts full of love I pray maybe one day we can meet face to face As we say our hellos with the warmest embrace But you're out of my league, I'm too awkward and shy If we met on the street you would probably pass me by But today is the day that I walked through the door Like I've done in my mind a thousand times before When I went to the clerk and inquired of your name He said, 'It's only the picture that comes with the frame'
