The Person On The Corner Author Dana Redricks August 08, 2014 They look as if she wasn’t there She’s somebodies mother, she’s Somebodies child; she was laid off She may have made some wrong choices A victim of illness, she cries, but no one Hears her voice; she is a victim of her Circumstance. Her child is hungry, and cold as she Stares into the tears of her mothers eyes. Her Mothers heart is hurting, because she Can’t supply her child’s needs; while the World is filled with greed, while people Struggle to supply their family’s needs. The truth is we are all one pay check, one choice, And sick day from being that person on The corner.
