The Past Ceases To Be

I used to get bitter once, when I could not have my way, I used to get lost, i forgot to let go... I am not wiser, nor better in any way, now, I go with the flow and yet, have learnt to stay. Swing, weave, smile and leave, I am just kinder now, having hurt enough, Kinder to myself Kinder to the world. My heart has been an open wound, but it does not fester as it once did, I might never heal, but I have chosen to let go of the hurt, I preserve my silence, chase my dreams, Pick myself up, dust off and run along, Even as the past ceases to be.

: )Girish, thanks for the email! Wonderful work! You, my friend, have arrived at the place in your journey where, if we're lucky, we all get to, when we realize that it is not "all about me"...when we finally begin to see the "whole picture". Amazing...insightful! More, more! Always, Annalise
