The Original Path
Roller coaster ride is what it was like
Impatience grown, the clock done ticking
The time came and still no strike
The thought although is still sticking
Now back to plan one from 2006
One which seems inevitable
Broken bridges that need not to be fixed
No lessons seen as regrettable
Knowing the lessons and choosing the path
That has led the road here today
There has been no blessing from God nor wrath
That has mapped a solid way
Each stepping stone a sinking one
But this one seems different, more firm
The crossing must happen, the job is undone
There is still many lessons to learn
But the future holds as many blanks as the past
Waiting to be discovered
Of course the line of diligence, must be cast
If the original path is to be recovered
