The Opposite May Be True

An urgent message to the children of God, be wary of your loathing! That person whom you condemn might very well be a sheep in wolves' clothing.

I love it! Indeed, very wise words here...you do an excellent job with this form. It's always good to keep our ill feelings in check and gain a clear perspective. Always, Laura

We never can tell exactly what's going on in the inside, for we can only see the outside (poetry is handy that way :) ) Thanks for your lovely visit, my dear friend!

Indeed my friend, that person may be you or me...a person's disposition must be allowed to live, confront, and teach. Your ethical poetry is very stimulating to me...J.A.B.

Thanks Justin. Grooks are one of my favorite types of poems to write, because it challenges me to spark thoughts in a very tiny package.

Yes Timothy..We shouldn't judge the book by the cover...the sheep in wolves'clothing, nor people by their religion or status. We should be wise enough to see deeper. We might be surprised about how kind and good people can be behind those clothes..maybe kinder than ourselves. Thanks for sharing food for thought through your poetry.

Glad you got something out of this. There is more to people, after all, than the labels!

Sounds like you've never read Kafka? He's the weirdo who wrote about a man turning into a cockroach! If you're knowledgeable about art, you might want to read my take on Manet's "Lunch on the Grass." Only a suggestion. Keep writing. / M

I LOVE this, Timothy. I think you are right. We might be surprised how many sheep simply LOOK like wolves. It's those the OTHER way around that we must guard against.
