'the One'
Today I wish I did that yesterday
Told you how much joy you bring
How many times I think of you
Instead of pretending that it didn't matter
…It did
Even today
There are moments
When thinking of you
Makes me smile
Even though we are distant
I miss you
I miss that weird nickname
I've grown accustomed to
When you fall asleep tonight
I hope or better yet I wish
That when you think of me
It will be with a smile
A smile that says: "she's still the one"
